Building Woodburner Range
Using cast iron for the airtight doors and main firebox components
and heavy gauge steel for the body, the Stovax Stockton range
combines the advantages of both steel and cast iron to produce
exceptional performance and value for money.
Cleanburn Technology
All Stockton stoves incorporate the latest cleanburn technology.
They burn wood or solid fuel with outstanding efficiency,
resulting in more heat delivery into the room and less going
up the chimney. It works by using three separate airflows;
primary air to burn solid fuel in the conventional way, plus
airwash air to keep the window clean and pre-heated secondary
or cleanburn air to burn excess hydrocarbons in the smoke.
Wood or Solid Fuel
Logs burn best on a bed of ash with no draught from below.
Solid fuels, on the other hand, burn better on a raised grate
that allows air to be drawn in from underneath. Unlike many
stoves, the inspired design of the Stockton range, means that
should you originally choose to burn wood only, later decide
you would prefer to burn both logs and solid fuels, you can
upgrade most models by fitting the optional multi-fuel grate.
Stunning Flame Effects
All three types of air combine to provide superb flames control
and exceptional views of the fire. So you can also create
different ambiences to suit your mood. From a deep glow, with
minimal flames, it takes only a few seconds to fill the firebox
with swirling flames.
